In one case downloaded, the firmware file is stored in programme'southward cache for all future jailbreaks.
RedSn0w 0.ix.9b1 is now bachelor for download for Mac OS X and Windows systems. Below is the complete change log:
- uses DFU mode to endeavour to automatically make up one's mind which device and FW you have
- fetches pieces of public IPSWs from Apple (one time). Non-public IPSWs must be provided manually (one time). Information technology and then caches those pieces for hereafter employ.

- "Query" – queries the Cydia server for all available Total or Fractional blobs for a given prepare of ECIDs
- "Stitch" – stitches either Full or PARTIAL blobs to a STOCK or CUSTOM IPSW
- FULL blobs stitched to a STOCK IPSW gives you a completely cocky-contained signed IPSW that iTunes will accept without any tricks (no need to go into pwned DFU way, no demand to showtime TinyUmbrella TSS server, no need to redirect to Cydia server for blobs)
- PARTIAL blobs stitched to whatever IPSW requires you to get into pwned DFU mode earlier running iTunes. No need to beginning TU or use Cydia though.
- stitching either FULL or Partial blobs to a CUSTOM IPSW also requires a pwned DFU starting time before iTunes restores. No need to showtime TU or use Cydia though.
- stitching is Not yet supported on iPhones (well, at least not tested). Demand to work out the baseband part of the restore procedure.
- volition eventually support fetching the blobs straight from Cydia instead of a file on your computer
